I can't speak highly enough of our experience with Dr. Kops. Our 12-month-old baby was experiencing some physical challenges, and she was instrumental in helping him overcome them. From the very first appointment, we felt like we were in good hands. Dr. Kops was patient, kind, and clearly very knowledgeable about how to help our baby improve his physical abilities.
Over the course of several weeks, Dr. Kops worked closely with our baby, helping him develop his gross motor skills and reach important milestones. She always took the time to explain what she was doing and why, and she gave us lots of helpful tips and exercises to do at home between appointments.
Thanks to her hard work and expertise, our baby is almost taking his first steps! We are so grateful to Dr. Alisson Kops for her help and guidance throughout this process, and we would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a baby physical therapist.

Dr. Allison has been such an amazing resource for our family in helping our little guy prepare for a tongue and lip tie release. She is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job of explaining why different exercises are necessary and how they are beneficial. She efficiently communicates and collaborates with other professionals on our son’s team. Best of all our son absolutely loves her and is the most calm and happy baby when she comes over to ‘play’! She’s been the greatest at helping us to navigate and overcome his challenges and we’re very lucky to work with her!

Dr. Kops has been a true godsend! Our son has benefited from both her pt & lactation expertise. Dr. Kops is thorough, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable. We went to her after seeing many specialists who weren’t quite sure how to help our little boy. Before seeing Dr. Kops our son had body asymmetries, torticollis with a head tilt, and would not take a bottle due to under developed oral motor skills. With Dr. Kops guidance he now is on his way to full body symmetry with zero feeding challenges. We are beyond grateful for Dr. Kops and could not recommend her services enough!

Dr Allison is wonderful! We started seeing her when my son was a couple of months old because he had suspected low tone in his shoulders. The appointment was very easy to schedule online and she was able to see us very quickly. I love that she can come to your home, especially during the newborn phase when it can be hard to get out of the house. Dr A was very warm and made me feel comfortable right away. She was very sweet with my son and always listened to his cues when he needed a break. She wrote out bullet point notes at the end of every session so that we had a clear care plan between visits. Additionally, she also noticed some signs of allergies in my baby and brought that up with me. As an experiment, I then cut dairy and soy from my diet and his reflux and excema improved in under a week. When he later started solids these allergies were confirmed and we went on to work with an allergist. I'm so grateful to Dr Allison for noticing these signs and bringing them up with me in a gentle and helpful way. I highly recommend her services.

Allison is amazing! She was super easy to schedule with and gave a really thorough evaluation. She gave us worried new parents some really practical tips and reassurance. She’s very responsive via text about any concerns that you may have. The home visits also make things super easy. I thought out baby would never do tummy time at all (he hated it and had some tone issues) and now he’s rolling all around and on his stomach a lot. I’d highly recommend Allison to anyone and everyone.

Allison is a wonderful professional and human: if you want to support your little one’s development I definitely recommend contacting her!
I personally reached out to her because my 3 months son was straggling so much with tummy time, it was almost impossible to get a head lift, even for a few minutes. Thanks to Allison’s patience, knowledge and exercises he is now doing great with it, he is happy to stay on his belly and gets stronger everyday. We couldn’t have done it without her!

Dr. Allison is not only a consummate professional, but she is also a wonderful person, and a baby whisperer. She helped us through latching difficulties starting when our baby was around five weeks old and helped us through recovery and strengthening of baby’s oral functions post-frenectomy, as well as strengthening other muscles. Her demeanor is so calming and pleasant; I always joke that it is our baby’s favorite place to visit because the moment she begins talking to him he is so happy. Her combination of experience in lactation and PT absolutely was a huge benefit to the care of our baby. She is responsive to inquiries via text even during non office hours, which always made us feel supported which is so critical when your baby is challenged with feeding and weight gain. I recommend her whole-heartedly to be part of your care team, and would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Allison is wonderful and very knowledgeable about all things baby. She is extremely responsive, and I text her all the time. I love that she is flexible and wants to work with babies in the comfort of their home. It makes it so much easier for us to not have to work around feeding / travel schedules. She is clear, makes things easily digestible and always provides clear instructions on what stretches / activities to work on with your baby. I highly recommend her for anyone wanting a second set of eyes for their little one.

We started working with Allison when our son was 3 weeks old for pre (and now, post) frenectomy care. Her PT and lactation expertise is remarkable! She is kind, passionate about her work, and really takes time to listen. It has been comforting to find a provider like her, especially as first time parents. Allison continues to make a beautiful learning opportunity out of a potentially stressful experience, not just in frenectomy care, but in the overall development and wellbeing of our son. We are so thankful to have found her and highly recommend her!

I can’t recommend Dr. Allison enough. As a 3rd time mom, I wasn’t even aware that PT was a resource new parents might need- but it has changed our lives (literally!) When I felt hopeless and completely lost as my youngest struggled to eat from bottles and nurse, I was lucky enough to stumble upon her website in the middle of the night while I was spiraling and searching for answers. I left her a message, and she got back to me the very next morning, and we had an appointment scheduled for the next day! With her help and guidance we have completely turned around my daughters feeding abilities. Dr. Allison is gentle, caring, and so knowledgeable- my baby was instantly comfortable being manipulated and stretched, and I as a mom felt so good about our decision to call her! There’s never any pressure if your baby is fussy/ and she builds in time to allow for feedings and changings and all the stressors we as new parents feel when we take our babies to specialists. I cannot stress how wonderful she is, how skilled she is, and I will be singing her praises for life!

My husband and I are so happy to have worked with Dr. Allison! Our son started PT with her when he was only about a month old. She was fantastic when working with him and made a huge difference in his physical abilities and his quality of life. Dr. Allison brings not only her caring and expertise, but also warmth and a great sense of humor.

We highly recommend Allison! When our son was about 6 months old, and hadn't hit some of his physical milestones, we scheduled an initial evaluation with her. She provided us with a very thoughtful evaluation and gave us easy-to-digest exercises to help our little one progress. We've seen her many times since!

Allison is the absolute *best* PT and lactation support person to have on your baby (and mother and father!) care team. We had a rough start to lactation before we found her when our baby was 10 weeks. Our daughter wouldn't latch and struggled with bottle feeding. Then around week 6 she developed colic - most likely due to allergies and air intake while feeding. We had seen many prior specialists but Allison was the only person who was able to look at our daughter's feeding picture holistically. She was also the only person who actually listened to me and my intuition about my baby (which ended up being correct!).
She helped us with our daughter's torticollis and tongue tie (often related!) as well as bottle feeding strategies. She also helped educate us on FPIES (commonly intolerance to milk and soy but also many other foods) and find a formula that worked well for our baby. She then helped us recognize Sandifer's Syndrome when our daughter started showing symptoms of it. Then she helped our daughter out of her torticollis tendency as she hit different milestones like rolling over and crawling. She also helped us introduce solids, straw cups, and shoes. We saw Allison for nearly a year and during that time we had so many questions for her and she always had a balanced perspective.
My goodness we went through a lot together and we are eternally grateful for her help! With Allison's support, our daughter went from the 22nd percentile in weight at week 10 (after dropping from the 50th starting at week 4) back up to her original weight curve of 50th percentile. She's now a thriving one year old with impressive gross motor skills - she rolled over early, crawled early, and walked right on schedule with no more torticollis issues.
If we have a second child, Allison is going to be the anchor of our lactation care team. I don't think we would have survived the first year without her. If you're struggling with lactation or gross motor challenges in any way or just want to be prepared with lactation help before your baby even arrives, please learn from our experience and reach out to Allison. It will save you a lot of angst and stress in those early weeks!

Allison went out of her way to accommodate seeing us around the holidays to make sure we received treatment as soon as possible. She helped us pinpoint some head flatness issues and come up with strategies to work on side preferences, strengthening, and stretching. It made a huge difference within a week. She also reached out multiple times to check on progress. Highly recommend!

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Allison Kops over the past few months. From the beginning, feedings were a struggle with my newborn. I had seen a couple pediatricians and a different lactation consultant, but never felt heard or saw any improvement. Being a new mom, just moved to this area and struggling with my newborn was extremely overwhelming. I reached out to Dr. Kops and she responded promptly and fit me in within a couple days. During that initial session, she was very patient and let me go through every one of my concerns. She did an extremely thorough evaluation of my baby and was able to show me what was going on with his feedings/latch. Over the past couple months, she’s helped us navigate several different issues including food allergies. I highly recommend her to anyone who’s little one may need that extra support and care!

If it wasn’t for Dr Allison’s early intervention I don’t think our boy would be where he is now developmentally at 10 months. She really knows how to work with infants. Our little guy loved her and we found her personable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. She is also super responsive.

I would recommend the BabyPT in a heart beat!

Dr. Kops has been a godsend working with my infant over the course of several months for physical therapy! I am so glad we found her. She is extremely knowledgeable, always on time, and is easy to make an appointment with. It makes a world of difference with an infant that Dr. Kops will come to your home instead of having to travel to a doctors office. Most importantly she turns the “work” of physical therapy into fun playtime for my son who has made tremendous progress thanks to Dr. Kops help and guidance. I can’t recommend her enough if your child has any PT needs, she’s wonderful!

Allison is wonderful! If you have any feeding/lactation questions I can't recommend her enough. Allison is incredibly knowledgable and has all the tools in her office to assist. We were doing "fine" but not thriving with possible tongue/lip tie, and the trip to see Allison was so well worth the time and money. Just wish we would have gone in sooner! Thank you Allison!

Dr. Allison Kops was wonderful for us as a lactation consultant and a baby PT! I was having issues with my breast pump, and having pain when I use it too often. Allison helped deduced that it was because the nipple flange was too big when I assumed it was too small. She was also very knowledgable in all sorts of baby topics that we had questions on and gave recommendations for baby toys and activities to help his development. We highly recommend Allison and would definitely come back if needed!

We have been under the care of Dr. Allison Kops since our baby was 5 days old. He was born with torticollis, microtia and shortness in his jaw. Over the past six months Dr Kops has diligently worked with us to strengthen and straighten his neck, to help him reach successfully his milestones and to improve his overall oral health with diligent exercises. She is a true professional and a wonderful, kind and patient guide and advisor to anxious and stressed parents. She has made a huge difference in our lives and we cannot recommend her more.

We can’t recommend Allison enough. She is incredible with babies (and fantastic with new nervous parents, too). We began with Allison after our pediatrician noticed our son favored one side so his head was developing asymmetrically. She worked with him and provided us exercises to do at home that weren’t overwhelming or too complicated. After our son’s work with Allison, there was no need for further interventions (like a helmet).

Going to the Baby PT was the best thing I did to resolve my breech baby's torticolis and plagiocephaly. My baby enjoyed the sessions and he's thriving on floor and tummy time, a far cry from the struggles we experienced before we started treatment. Highly recommend

I first started working with Dr. Kops in November 2023 when my 11-month old daughter was still crawling on her belly, not sitting herself up and had no signs of pulling up or walking. We have worked with Dr. Kops weekly for about 4 months now and my daughter is cruising and very close to walking. She also crawls on all fours. Dr. Kops has been very encouraging the entire time and always provides great feedback on my daughter’s progress. She also gives us weekly exercises that are easy to do in our home. Dr. Kops is a pleasure to work with as she’s very patient and optimistic. It is also very apparent she loves babies, and because she comes to our home to work with us, we have found it so easy and convenient to be consistent with my daughter’s physical therapy. I highly highly recommend Dr. Kops to anyone with concerns about their infant’s development, particularly with missed milestones. Because of Dr. Kops work, we are fully confident that our daughter will be on track to meet her gross motor milestones very soon.

Dr. Kops was the single greatest decision I made for me and my newborn baby in my early postpartum days. She quickly identified why my baby was struggling to gain weight and was seemingly colic. She also checked in on me regularly and I could tell truly cared about my daughter’s well-being. Dr. Kops accompanied and guided me when I needed it most. Can’t say enough good things!

Our son was a late walker, so a friend of mine referred me to Dr. Allison Kops. I am SO glad I made the appointment. She came to our home (which was fantastic) and immediately noticed that my son sat regularly in a "W" shape, indicating he could use more core strengthening. She gave us 4-5 game changing tips and wouldn't you know it - during her visit he started walking across the room! She was cheerful, calm, and highly observant and I will be recommending her to anyone who needs a pediatric PT. 5 stars, all the way!

I am so grateful a friend referred me to Dr. Allison to address my baby’s torticollis and breast and bottle feeding difficulties. I started taking my baby to Dr. Allison when he was about 6 weeks old and it made the world of a difference in his feeding skills and range of motion/ gross motor skills. As a PT and certified lactation consultant, she addresses all areas (oral musculature motor control/ sucking, muscle tightness and imbalance, gross motor skills, etc) that are contributing to difficulties in feeding, which were overlooked beforehand. Taking my baby to his PT appointments was one of my favorite things during the postpartum time because I learned so much from Dr. Allison each visit (and my baby loved his play time). I highly recommend Dr. Allison if you are having difficulty with breast/ bottle feeding, are concerned about a head preference, or progress with gross motor skills!

Dr. Kops is the best! I love the convenience of her home visits, but above all, she’s super knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and incredibly warm. She truly has a gift with babies and is excellent in getting my usually tired and fussy baby to comply with his PT sessions. We’re seeing results really quickly with her tailored program, too. I highly recommend her services!

Allison is amazing! I couldn’t ask for a better PT for my 6 month old. She's knowledgeable, skilled, patient, and SO GOOD with babies. We started seeing her for my son’s plagiocephaly at 4 months and she diagnosed him with torticollis. She taught us specific stretches and activities to do at home to strengthen his neck and body. We are so happy with his improvement! Not only has his torticollis resolved, but my sweet boy who previously hated tummy time loves being on his belly and thanks to Allison’s help is rolling over like a pro! 🙌🏼

We worked with Allison based on a recommendation from our IBCLC. She was so great in helping our baby with tension she was having and gross motor milestones. She gave us homework to practice and we saw tremendous growth in a short amount of time. When our baby starting showing asymmetry with pulling up a few months later, we met with her again and she answered all our questions and gave tips for home practice. I highly recommend her!
