Pediatric Physical Therapy
In order to best provide specialized, efficient, and effective care, we have chosen not to engage with any insurance companies for physical therapy services. Therapy-only sessions will be considered out-of-network. The session fee will be automatically charged to the credit card or HSA/FSA card on file at the time of the visit. Upon request, we will provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Lactation and Infant Feeding
Lactation and Infant Feeding sessions are considered preventative services under The Affordable Care Act for most insurance plans. Dr. Kops is in network with Aetna and will bill Aetna directly for lactation sessions. Other insurance carriers are out-of-network at this time, but we working on joining other major carriers. Out-of-network fees will be automatically charged to the credit card or HSA/FSA card on file at the time of the visit. Upon request, we will provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
Wellness
Wellness / developmental sessions are self-pay and not eligible for insurance coverage or reimbursement.
Included Services
Follow-up assistance, via text, email, or patient portal, for any and all concerns addressed during your session is included in the cost of the service. Follow-up care that regards new or unaddressed concerns, or is extensive in nature, may require an additional session.

Home visits in Alexandria and Arlington, VA
All house calls will incur a convenience fee of $30 ($50 effective 2/15/2025). This fee is not reimbursable through insurance. To avoid this additional cost, please consider scheduling sessions at our intimate office space in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria.

Cancellation Fees
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $50 fee. This fee is not covered by insurance. The credit card on file will be used to cover this fee.
Last minute cancellations or “no shows” will be responsible for the full session fee. This fee is not covered by insurance. The credit card on file will be used to cover this fee.
